I never cease to be amazed at how the rumor mill works overtime during NFL free agency.

We’ve had a Terrell Owens sighting in Kansas City just about every other day. I hear reports that he’s been seen at Kansas City International (which, by the way, is not the airport where NFL prospects arrive. They fly into downtown Kansas City). And I’ve also heard reports that he’s house hunting in Leawood.

For the record, none of this is true.

Owens isn’t even on our wish list. We already have a premier receiver in Chris Chambers and Dwayne Bowe is cut in the same mold as Owens.
