Calling all KC area drummers!

Auditions for Chiefs' Rumble: Sunday, July 11th.

I just want to cry. I know this is no full time gig. I know it's proably the kind of job that is a part time perk that most drummers would dream about . I am qualified to find a job teaching in Kansas City, and I think Chiefs RUMBLE would welcome me with open arms.

I can afford to get there. Those that know me, know what I have been going through this last year. If I thought I could afford to get to Kansas City and apply for this opportunity, nothing in the world would stop me. But I cant. I am a product of this economy, and I am working for minimum wage on the outskirts of Saint Louis.  I wont leave my family, and  I can't buy the right kind of job to be able to afford to get there.

This is how I know, that there is no god.  So ANYWAY....here is the ad....

Nothing to see here...

I am drinking with Barry tonight. Along with many of us. He doesn't feel like posting it, so I am. And we are all going to sit here and laugh about it. But this is something Barry has been talking about for a LONG time. And tonight, He just did it. With most of us here. Anyway, there is nothing to see here, if you aren't a member or follower of this website. So if you are guest, there is NO WAY you will understand this....

Barry just left a DIAMOND in Kent Babb's mailbox...

27 years ago, Joe left us....

BarrysKoolaid,BarryinStlouis

Kansas City Chief fans remember June 28th. It is the day we lost Joe Delaney.  I got a message from a friend on facebook as I was trying to decide how I was going to write a blog about Joe. His story is one that will never escape me. His courage will last in my heart for all of my days. Joe was selected as the Chiefs MVP for 1981. He was the AFC's second leading rusher and set 4 club records in the process. Joe's 82 yard run versus the Broncos was the AFC's longest of 1981, and the second longest in Chiefs history. Today, tomorrow, this week, this month..we remember Joe Delaney. Tell someone you know about his story. Now, I'd like to share that note I mentioned earlier,...enjoy.

Brodie Croyle not content as Kansas City Chiefs backup to Matt Cassel

Brodie Croyle talks football at new D1 Sports Training Facility in Homewood

Brodie Croyle isn't ready to accept being just a backup quarterback in the NFL, although that's where he will find himself when the Kansas City Chiefs open training camp next month.

Entering his fifth season, Croyle, 27, is slated to back up Matt Cassel.

The BIG CLUB

Everyone has a cell phone that makes pancakes, so they don't want to rock the boat.
George Carlin 1937-2008

You have to be asleep to believe the "American Dream" folks. It seems to get worse every single day. While most continue to ignore all of the problems that we are faced with day in and day out in this country, I take measure of of a voice that has departed us. Nobody could say it better than George Carlin. He left us with such a mountain of valuable information. This information that is discounted, and disguised in the form of what we call "comedy". But is it really comedy? Or is it a better, more creative way to deliver a message to a populous who have lost the ability to pay attention... click above, I'm getting ready to go off....

Turning the PAGE...

There is no doubt that the Kansas City Chiefs have upgraded their secondary in the past year. The competition that has been created at every position in the backfield has Chiefsnation already planning for the tailgate come September when they beat the Chargers on Monday night. I'm sure to see you all there. Let's be frank here. Jarred Page is not part of the plan. Continue reading---->
