This is a great scene in this movie. But seriously? What makes Barry any different?
He says the things people don't say. He is passionate about what he does. About the relationships that he has built. His goal is to represent the players.
Especially headed into a possible lockout in the NFL. He wants to focus on the midwest. The region he is from, but I say he can do it anywhere.
He doesn't talk about this often. So I say we bring up the discussion.
His credentials are there. In pubic speaking, marketing, and so forth. I don't care if you're mad at me either Barry. Things are starting to happen in this little operation of ours, and we need to be prepared. If you have been "selected" to be a member of this community, your opinion is welcome. Tell us what you think. You know how I feel about it.
Look. My inbox is a crowded house the last 24 hours. I like it that way, and sometimes, we just need to reflect after a loss. Especially the fifth straight loss in preseason. But enough of my bad attitude, I just have to tell you about last night. One of the more enjoyable experiences in my life. This thing is coming together, and I am very aware of it. So let's set the tone....
$70 Presidential Platter at Gates BBQ. Throw in two large orders of fries, and a large BEAN,...the mood was perfect before gametime. The drinks were full, the seats were full, and Kansas City Chiefs football was upon us at last! Follow me-------------click above
The landscape of the Chiefs running back corps has changed drastically since Jackie Battle went on injured reserve last October 14th. When Battle suffered the season-ending shoulder injury vs. Dallas, he was joined by running backs Larry Johnson, Jamaal Charles and Dantrell Savage on the Chiefs active roster. Of those three, only Charles is still a member of the organization.Battle is now fully-recovered from in-season shoulder surgery and is once again in the thick of competition for a roster spot this training camp. With Charles’ emergence, the addition of Pro Bowler Thomas Jones and a roster full of other rushing candidates, including rookie Dexter McCluster, some players in Battle shoes might feel a bit discouraged.
